One of my friends just took a weeklong vacation to San Francisco and graciously agreed to do a guest post for me – yay! (I’m moving and camera is going into the shop, so it was perfect timing on her part!)
(I did some light editing of the photos, but otherwise: All Ariel!)
Left: One of the many hearts that can be found around SF. This one is in Union Square! Right: Chinatown is full of lots of great old signs and hanging red lanterns.
Delicious arepas at Pica Pica Kitchen near the Mision.
Left: Walking the Golden Gate! There and back again on an unusually clear day! Right: The ferry building on the waterfront. Go inside for some delicious eats, and sit outside for an amazing view.
View of the bay through the Golden Gate’s iconic orange suspender ropes.
Welcome to Alcatraz! Take the amazing audio tour!
Carousel on Pier 39!
The redwoods in Muir Woods are gorgeous and definitely worth the drive through the mountains to get there.

Thanks, Ariel!!!!
