Serengeti Wildlife and Wine Festival

Tammy and Marie

Tammy and Marie

Last weekend I went down to the Serengeti Resort for their Wild Wine, Food, and Music festival.  On the way back, my brothers, their girlfriends, and I stopped at the outlet malls and took care of some shopping.  Tammy and Marie stopped for a photo with Bob the Builder after we ate Dippin’ Dots (yum!).

Note: all the following pictures are from the festival.

Turtle!!!!!

Turtle!!!!!

Turtle, turtle, turtle!!!! I love turtles.

Baby goats. Cuddling. Awww.....

These two cuties were part of the petting zoo at the festival.  They are probably the cutest thing ever.

Mom and Savanna with dessert. Yum.

At the end of the night, we were all winding down with desserts or drinks.  They had the most delicious desserts – I had tira misu, my favorite!

Baby Kangaroo

“Everybody’s got a baby kangaroo; yours is pink but mine is blue.”

Mom in a hat

Mom in a hat

These hats were made by Entwined Fiber and Wire (proprietor: Karen Davis), a New Braunfels based craft business.  I loved her hats!

Spinning llama wool.

Spinning llama wool.

Here she is, spinning llama wool and wearing a fantastic hat! (Also, that mannequin is really freaked out by the spinning wheel.)

Camel love

Camel love

Camels using their break to get their camel love on.  Or steal each other’s food; I’m not quite sure.

My cousin, with her super cool retro headband she picked up at a different vendor (the name of which I don’t remember and I forgot to get a business card!)

My cuz and me.

Cousinly love.  Check out my bling-tastic turtle ring that I picked up from another vendor!

More hatt-y goodness.
