This is the second campsite we stopped at, with a parking spot (RV) right by the western-facing beach. The views were absolutely gorgeous.
Here’s Kendal, vegan extraordinaire, taking a picture of the fantastic vista and sailboat.
Brenda coming in off the pier. It had been raining all day and was still drizzling when we arrived – that’s why she’s all sad and lonely with her shawl.
A brave stork who was ignoring the people on the pier to admire the sunset. (Okay, probably not, but he did look at it.)
The sunset proper, with the picturesque sailboat in the background. I swear someone anchored it only for the lovely effect; it was there both days we were.
The cabana and some other campers enjoying nightfall.
Sunset over the water; the colors were sublime.
One last picture, right as the sun dipped under the horizon. The view alone is worth the trip!
