When I was in Australia, I went on a 3 day live aboard and on the third day we did a very early morning dive.  I got up just a tad bit earlier than everyone else and went to watch the sunrise.

Before the sun could be seen, but after the sky was light, a whole bunch of birds flew by.

And then the sunrise started!

There were huge dramatic clouds and loads of gorgeous colors.

The sun was behind a cloud the entire time – until we were under the water – but it was still incredibly gorgeous. I’m not a 5:30 am kind of person but I was incredibly glad to be up to see this.
