It was my birthday weekend (yay!) and to celebrate, I took a walk with my camera during a lovely purple sunset.
This is the pond I was ice skating on just last week – there’s no pond hockey now!
And the beach – at first, I thought it was going to be a very gray sunset.
But then the clouds over the sea started to turn lavender.
And to the west, the clouds were lit up brilliantly by the setting sun. (And weirdly shaped, too!)
There was a mother and a child using the leaving tide to search for shells.
Towards town, the last rays of the sun made for some dramatic moments.
While the beach started to reflect the purple shades of the sky. The warm weather is bringing some gorgeous days. I must say, however, that I do miss the snow and even the colder weather – I feel like I’m being cheated out of a season, here!
